MILAN (AP) — Christian Pulisic came to AC Milan to revive his flagging club career. Pulisic has started life in Italy with five goals and two assists in his first 12 league matches with Milan, the 25-year-old matching Weston McKennie’s goal tally for Juventus in the entire 2020-21 season. Pulisic’s most prolific season was in 2019-20, when he weighed in with nine goals in 25 matches for Chelsea. Pulisic scored just once in his final season with Chelsea and made just two starts after Jan. 5 before moving to Milan in the offseason. Pulisic’s new lease of life will be key ahead of next year’s Copa América in the U.S., and a 2026 World Cup co-hosted by the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

The logo of ABB is seen at an office building in Zurich, Switzerland September 10, 2020. The goals, announced ahead of ABB's investor day in Italy, were an upgrade from the previous annual revenue growth target of 4% to 7%. Most of the sales will come from internal growth, ABB said, with an expected five to seven percentage points of extra revenue, while an additional one to two percentage points is expected from acquisitions. ABB, which supplies industry and transportation networks with robots, electrification equipment and motors, also raised its core profitability target to a range of 16% to 19%. The International Monetary Fund recently downgraded its forecast for global growth for next year, with advanced economies expected to significantly slow as interest rates rise.

Cagliari were under pressure at a foggy Stadio San Nicola where only a victory would see them promoted. The first leg ended 1-1 on Thursday as an early goal from Gianluca Lapadula was cancelled out by a late penalty by Bari's Mirco Antenucci and had the second leg also ended in a draw, Bari would have gone up after finishing higher in the table. Cagliari struggled to create anything for most of the match, but in the pouring rain, Pavoletti volleyed in the winner four minutes into stoppage time. Bari finished the season in third, five points ahead of Cagliari in fifth. Reporting by Tommy Lund in Gdansk Editing by Toby DavisOur Standards: The Thomson Reuters Trust Principles.
